I grew up in Virginia and after 20+ years of serving in the USAF, I landed in San Antonio. I have enjoyed the CrossFit journey for a few years and been given the humbling opportunity to be a coach for about 2 years. I played football, baseball and basketball in high school and played college basketball for 3 years before joining the military.

‍

Through my career, I racked up a few injuries and CrossFit has always provided me with the tools to recover and live a functional and active life. I am married and blessed with a beautiful family. They keep me grounded,  centered in my faith, and provide a constant reminder to look at life through many different lenses.

I strive to have a a work ethic and discipline, which exceeds my own comforts and constraints. The enemy is complacency and excuses. I try to ensure my discipline is always greater than my desires and when motivation fades, I can always be disciplined to put one foot forward and work hard. Soldiers of the enemy are discomfort, excuses, internal and external noise.
First and foremost, I serve my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I try to live my life as a servant to Christ and be an example to those around me. Next, I lead my family by example and honesty. I have to wake up every day and lead my family through many of life’s challenges and obstacles. I take both responsibilities very seriously and do my best to be the best human I can.
