Coach
I grew up in western Colorado where I enjoyed the many outdoor activities that Colorado has to provide including hiking, camping and gardening. I grew up with a strong love for animals which led me to become a veterinarian. My husband Jake and I have traveled from Colorado to Texas, to the Caribbean, north to Alaska and now back to Texas.
I started CrossFit back in 2016 and fell in love with the process and the community it provided. No matter where we have traveled, I have always found my CrossFit family and I cherish the memories I’ve made with those people.
I have been coaching since 2021 and recently received my L2 certification. I am honored to take a spot coaching at living stone athletics, and hope to share my love for this sport with others.
I have always loved CrossFit and the discipline it requires. After the loss of my father in 2020, I went through a deeply difficult season and relied heavily on training as a way to cope, sometimes using it in unhealthy ways to manage grief and stay distracted from my pain. That season ultimately led me to reflect on my identity, my purpose, and where I was placing my hope.
Through my faith, I experienced renewal, was baptized, and found a deeper sense of grounding and perspective. Today, CrossFit is once again a positive and life-giving part of my routine focused on health, longevity, and stewardship of the body, guided by gratitude, balance, and my relationship with God.
Coaching allows me to help others experience the confidence, resilience, and mood-boosting benefits that movement can bring. I am passionate about creating a space where athletes can leave the stress of the outside world at the door, show up fully as themselves, and grow physically and mentally in a supportive community.
My goal is to help each person build not only strength, but lasting confidence and a positive relationship with fitness.
