I was a very average one of the male athlete all throughout high school. I was very lucky to be exposed to incredible strength and conditioning being a football player and track athlete that inspired my curiosity and wanting to push myself mentally and physically, and next time ended up joining the Marine Corps to further test that mental and physical capacity and there I had very unique exposure and what training felt like from a tactical perspective, in opposition to being a sport athlete.

After my four year stent in the Marines, I would leave the active duty component and begin my life as a civilian where I was lucky enough to find a CrossFit gym and embark on that journey, and that’s pushed me to gather the credentials and have the interest in coaching and also take advantage of the equipment to start becoming more proficient at weightlifting, gymnastics, and all the different modalities that CrossFit has to offer.

There was a point in time after I left the active duty military component, I realized I needed a positive internal dialogue, and that helped me to cross the bridge into my personal journey of self improvement and prioritizing growth over destruction.

Teach Weightlifting properly.
